NSA North Sheep
The WLSBA took a stand at NSA North Sheep this June held near Belsay, Ponteland, Northumberland. It was a super busy day with a nice bit of interest in the breed. Thank you to everyone that helped with the stand – Mark Elliott, Jodi Shadforth and Roger Field, the stand was much admired.
Suffolk Show 2023
Wednesday 31st May saw the Wensleydale Breed classes held at Suffolk Show (Official). Judged by Miss A Pennell she found her champion in the Black Ram in full wool (2022 born) bred and exhibited by Diana Bird and Duncan Parker. We held a very enjoyable lunch and AGM this afternoon at The Garden Rooms at Tennants, it was lovely to see a nice turnout and following the fairly straightforward business of the meeting it was chance for our President the Hon. 2023 AGM The 2023 Wensleydale Longwool Sheep Breeders’ Association AGM will be held on Saturday 13th May at 2pm.It will be held at The Garden Rooms, Tennants Auction House, Leyburn.
