As many of you will know, on the 1st of December 2025, Dr Agnes Winter – longstanding Wensleydale sheep breeder, internationally renowned vet and dear friend to many, passed away following a short illness.

Today, 11th April 2026, several members of the Association and friends of Agnes, were proud to be able to attended a memorial service, celebrating her life. Her generous knowledge, passion for the breed and friendship will be dearly missed.
